 Mediterranean Golf will make its debut from the 16th till the 19th of April 2008 coinciding with the 5th International Golf and Environment Forum organized by PROMOTOUR (Association of Residential, Sport and Health Tourism of Andalusia). The Golf Show will be held in the "Palacio de Ferias y Congresos" in Malaga.

As of now it is possible to view our website in 7 different languages: Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, French, German and of course English. The translations are made with Google Translate. They are not 100% perfect, but very understandable. On our homepage you will find 6 different country flags on the left top, click on one of the flags and the website will be translated in the language of your choice.

| Managers and Owners to work together |
The European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA) signed an agreement of co-operation with the Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) during the European Golf Business Conference. Being a member of the EGCOA means you are also a associate member of the CMAE which provides you with the following benefits: 1) EGCOA member clubs can send their managers or owners to attend any of the CMAE workshops, seminars and conferences at preferential prices. 2) EGCOA member clubs will receive the CMAE newsletter. 3) Club managers who are EGCOA members will be able to earn CMAE Education Credits (towards CCM one day) by attending the EGCOA conference and other educational activity organized by the EGCOA and it's national owners associations in each country. 4) The EGCOA and CMAE will be look at joint initiatives that will benefit the industry.

| STRI has been retained as an official business partner by the European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA). The agreement was reached and signed at the European Golf Business Conference 2007, organised and hosted by the EGCOA, in Amsterdam. STRI specialises in the supply of consultancy and research services to the golf industry, designed to improve the quality of playing surfaces on the course. Currently, 10 per cent of STRI’s client portfolio are based in continental Europe and the institute’s CEO, Gordon McKillop is keen to see an increase in that figure. |
